Aimee Hampel-Milagrosa
Aimee is an urban development specialist and economist working on urban development and water supply and sanitation, economic analysis of investment projects, and private sector development (tech startups, entrepreneurship, and business environment). Currently she is processing and implementing solid waste management projects in the Solomon and Marshall Islands and is supporting the ADB due diligence of economic analysis of urban development projects in Southeast Asia and the Pacific.
Edkarl Galing
Karl has more than 20 years of experience working on water resources management; water supply, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH); solid waste and wastewater management; and environmental and engineering geological assessments. He currently serves as ADB’s urban development specialist in the Southeast Asia and Pacific region managing various technical assistance and investment programs on water, sanitation and urban development projects.
Javier Coloma Brotons
Javier holds a master's on sanitary and environmental engineering and on industrial organization and financing, with over 34 years of experience, including 12 years on development projects. He has designed, built, and managed municipal/industrial wastewater, solid waste, drainage, water, and infrastructure projects in Algeria, England, Spain, USA, Jordan, Rumania, Colombia, Honduras, Dominican Republic, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao People’s Democratic Republic, The Philippines and Viet Nam.
Michael White
Michael White is a civil/environmental engineer with 35 years of professional experience in the water and urban development sectors. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and a Master’s degree in water and waste engineering. He has been based in Southeast Asia for 27 years and has worked full-time in the development sector since 1997. Before joining the Asian Development Bank in 2009, Mr.
Alexander Nash
Alexander Nash is a chartered chemical engineer specialized in water management and urban development. He has more than 20 years professional experience gained in Australia, Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia, working with utilities, multilateral financing institutions and governments on water, sanitation and irrigation infrastructure projects.
Kristina Katich
Kristina holds a master’s degree in City Planning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Design in Architecture from the University of Florida. She joined ADB in 2012 as an Urban Development Specialist in the East Asia Department and was based in the Pacific Subregional Office in Fiji from 2019 until 2023.
