Senior Urban Development Specialist

Kristina holds a master’s degree in City Planning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Design in Architecture from the University of Florida. She joined ADB in 2012 as an Urban Development Specialist in the East Asia Department and was based in the Pacific Subregional Office in Fiji from 2019 until 2023.

Prior to joining ADB, Kristina worked in multiple architectural firms in the United States, as a Peace Corps water and sanitation volunteer in the Dominican Republic, and as an urban climate adaptation and risk consultant at the World Bank in East Asia, the Middle East, and North Africa. 

Lorie Ann Dusaran

Project Analyst

Rianne joined ADB in May 2010, initially as an Administrative Assistant under BPMSD, providing support in recruiting international staff. In 2012, she transferred to COSO as Procurement Assistant, supporting the Procurement Support Unit. Rianne stayed there for almost seven years and gained knowledge on procurement while witnessing the department's transformation from COSO to OSFMD to PPFD (LOL!). In 2019, she transferred to SATC as an Associate Project Analyst. Rianne obtained her Urban and Regional Planning diploma from the University of the Philippines Diliman, which she thinks helped her move to SEUW in October 2021.

Rianne is a nature lover who loves traveling, swimming, and playing badminton. 

Maria Tran

Senior Project Officer (Urban Development)

Maria is an engineer, passionate and committed to ADB’s vision of a prosperous, inclusive, resilient, and sustainable Asia and the Pacific. Maria has over ten years’ experience in the water and sanitation sector and joined ADB in 2020, where she is responsible for processing and implementing ADB grant and loan projects and technical assistance programs across the Pacific.

Maricar Barrogo

Senior Project Officer

Macar has been providing support in the design and administration of ADB’s water and urban development projects in South Asia and Southeast Asia since 2011. She is also heavily involved in portfolio management of the Pacific and Southeast Asia team of water and urban development sector office. She joined ADB in 2008 where she assisted in the processing of energy and education projects in the Pacific. Prior to ADB, she worked in the government sector as a technical officer in the Presidential Management Staff under the Office of the President of the Philippines. She finished her bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering and has a diploma in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of the Philippines.
