Heping is an experienced climate change adaptation scientist and has substantial experiences in climate change risk analysis and adaptation, hydrological and hydraulic modelling in Australia and Asian countries. His PhD studies in the Australian National University were focused at research on the agroclimatology of China, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia and Peninsula Malaysia. In Australia, he carried out a number of research projects on climate risks for agricultural industries, and managed/involved nation-wide water assessment projects such as National Land and Water Resources Audit, Water 2000, water 2006, and Climate Change Impact on the Water Availability of New South Wales. Whilst mostly worked in Australia on completion of his PhD, he involved also substantial research and international development works in China, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, and Mongolia. He has done a number of CRA assignments in recent years, and worked as Hydrologist to carry out hydrology/hydraulic modelling works for some of those projects.

Hui-June worked as an economist for 30 years in Korea Rural Community Corporation (KRC) which has been a leading public agency in Korea for land and water development for agriculture projects. KRC was the first agency in Korea who introduced economic and financial analysis by recommendation of international institutions who provided project loans. Hui-June worked there as an economist. Later KRC participated in international projects through successful bidding where he could accumulate more my experience as an economist. Isabel has over 30 years of working experience focusing on increasing equity and working with governments to develop at-scale poor-inclusive urban sanitation services. Since 2017 she has worked on consulting assignments in Asia with World Bank, ADB, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, WaterAid, GIZ and others. From 2005-2016, she was a Senior Water and Sanitation Specialist with the World Bank's Water and Sanitation Programme (WSP) and worked with Government departments and agencies to develop pro-poor urban sanitation programs in Indonesia, Vietnam, the Philippines, Pacific Island countries and South Asia. Previously, she worked in Southern and East Africa for UNICEF, DFID, KfW, AfDB, DANIDA, consulting firms and NGOs. She has an engineering Bachelor's degree and a Master's from the Water, Engineering and Development Centre (WEDC), Loughborough University, UK and is currently based in Melbourne, Australia.

Jean has more than 35 years of working experience, is a Coastal and River Engineer with a MSc. Degree of the Delft University of Technology in The Netherlands and Business Administration courses at Insead Fontainebleau, France. owner of Delta Context B.V. from The Netherlands. Before joining Delta Context, Jean has been working for Technical University With Delft, Royal Dutch Navy, Deltares, Maritime Simulation Centre, Royal HaskoningDHV and CDR International. In his field of technical expertise, he has been active in structures, rehabilitation of coastal defence works, ports, waterway studies, river morphology, master planning, economic studies, institutional strengthening, water management and feasibility and cost- effectiveness studies. He is an engineer with experience in setting up integrated studies, where spatial planning, coastal resilience and building with nature concepts have been applied. Jean has been involved in projects around the world including Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar, Nigeria, Indonesia and Bangladesh.

Jeremy specializes in water resources policy, institutions and management. He has had a diverse career working across Asia and Africa including as Director General of the International Water Management Institute (IWMI) from 2012-2017, CEO of the Mekong River Commission from 2008-2011, senior advisor to the World Commission on Dams, and senior water resources specialist at the Asian Development Bank (ADB). As an independent advisor,  Jeremy has supported policy and strategy formulation processes at national and regional levels including the Bonn Nexus Conference and ADB’s Water Financing Program. He has undertaken sector analyses and supported ADB staff during fact-finding and appraisal missions. Jeremy is currently facilitating establishment of a platform for cooperation on water under the Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation (CAREC) Program and acting as an advisor to the development of the Uzbekistan Water Code.

Johannes Hunink is a senior hydrologist at FutureWater specialized in climate risks, water security and integrated water resources management. He is experienced in the use of quantitative tools, simulation models and remote sensing for assessing climate change impacts on water availability, demand, shortages, water productivity, and water-dependent ecosystem services.  Trained as a computational geographer, he has skills to manage large datasets and process satellite data to evaluate scenarios and solutions, and integrate these into strategic decision making processes. Johannes has been project manager and leading analyst in a wide range of research and consultancy projects around the world, including Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bolivia, Cambodia, Chile, Ethiopia, Gabon, Georgia, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Kazakhstan, Kirgizstan, Laos, Mauritius, Morocco, Tajikistan, Tanzania, Thailand, Uganda, Uzbekistan, Vietnam and Zambia. He has worked on a wide range of assignments for the Asian Development Bank, World Bank, Inter-American Development Bank, European Commission, environmental NGOs and river basin organizations, amongst others.

Juan is a coastal resilience specialist with over 30 years of international experience in shoreline management, climate adaptation, and hydraulic modeling. He leads the Coastal and Marine Department at DHI Malaysia and has worked across Southeast Asia, South Asia, the Middle East, and Europe. With a PhD in Coastal Engineering and deep expertise in nature-based solutions, Juan has guided projects ranging from shoreline protection in India to sediment transport studies in Malaysia and climate vulnerability assessments in Cambodia. He is a registered subject specialist with Malaysia’s Department of Environment and a contributing author to global coastal engineering guidelines. Juan is known for integrating science, policy, and community needs to advance sustainable coastal development.

Environmental Scientist with more than 25 years’ experience in instrumentation, SCADA, smart water systems, hydrological monitoring projects, hydrography, Environmental Monitoring System Design and Installation (surface water, ground water, waste water, water quality, hydromet, and open channel). A specialist on monitoring instrumentation including sensors, data loggers and telemetry systems, processing, validation and analysis of collected environmental data. Has experience throughout Australia, South East Asia and North Asia.

A specialist with more than 25 years of professional experience in the use of GIS, ICT, RS, DSS, Asset Management, SCADA, database design/development, web development, technology and communication options for modernizing water distribution networks and irrigation modernization systems for water allocation optimization. Experience in IWRM, irrigation and drainage, water and wastewater. Experience in several countries in various contexts.

Meera has 45 years of experience in inclusive water and sanitation service delivery, urban planning and development and infrastructure finance across Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa. She is a Professor Emeritus at CEPT University and the Centre Head of the Center for Water and Sanitation. She was on the board of the Stockholm-based inter-governmental organization Global Water Partnership (GWP). She is currently on the board of IRC, a global not-for-profit organization. She is currently one of the Editors for the IWA’s WASH development journal. She has studied Architecture and Urban Planning and has a Ph.D. in Economics.
