
Andrew is a globally recognized expert in nature-based solutions, protected area planning, and biodiversity-inclusive tourism. With over four decades of experience across more than 35 countries, he has led evaluations, project designs, and strategic planning for initiatives funded by GEF, UNDP, ADB, the EU, and the World Bank. Andrew specializes in integrating conservation with sustainable livelihoods—designing ecotourism strategies, restoring degraded landscapes, and mainstreaming biodiversity into agriculture, forestry, and fisheries. His work spans wetlands, coastal zones, conservation and urban forestry, and biodiversity conservation and protected areas, ecotourism, and urban park and open space planning.
